THE FLAWLESS 16: TOP MODEL @LindseyEHolmes
Our Mid May Flawless 16′ is none other than @LindseyEHolmes, Model, Actress and face of Nth Degree Hair. With icy blue eyes and the cool blonde locs, Lindsey has the quintessential summer glow and the talent to match!
Where were you born and raised?
Born and raised in the suburbs of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
How long have you been modeling, and how did you get your start?
I got my first shot at modeling at 8, back when Target had runway shows IN stores! My grandpa worked there and put my sister and I on a list of young ladies to walk the runway for the back to school campaign. Since then I’ve been off and on modeling, which would mean 21 years in the bizz! 😁 Oofta!
You are also an actress, what type of roles do you play?
I usually get type cast as the “quirky” girl, since I have a naturally goofy personality, but lately I’ve had the opportunity of portraying much more serious and dramatic roles. It’s nice to not always be seen as the girl next door 🙂
Your best gig so far?
That’s a hard question! Last year I was cast in a Heineken commercial that involved singing. I use to sing a lot, so it was especially fun to get back into it, even for one day. I’ve never been a part of such large production before, so it was very exciting! I believe it won bronze at Cannes Film Festival too!
Best advice for aspiring models in LA?
Be prepared. I always carry around headshots, resumes, update my photos as often as you can- you never know when opportunity will present itself!
Favorite Nth Degree hair product, and why?
I have naturally dry, wavy hair, so the deep conditioning treatment is a heaven sent! With one treatment, my once fried looking locks are healthy and shiny!
Does your hair color determine the type of jobs you get booked for?
Probably! It would be fun to chop it off, color it blue and see what type of roles I get called in for. That would be quite the gamble though 🙂
You are the current face of Nth Degree, can you tell us about your experience shooting with fellow Flawless 16’s Ashley Nguyen and Khadija?
I am always filled with inspiration and gratitude when I’m able to work with such talented and driven women like Ashley and Khadija. Not only are they extremely good at what they do, they’re sweethearts too! It’s a great relief to be on set with women who empower one another.
Hair goals for 2016?
All around healthy hair!
Any exciting projects you’re working on?
I’ve been writing away! Taking a shot at writing and producing, which is completely out of my element, but exciting indeed 🙂
